Kolar: Drunk man attacks ASHA worker

Kolar: A ASHA worker who was collecting data on COVID-19 was attacked by a 25-year-old drunk man at Bommasandra of Kolar district.
The accused is Gangadhar and the injured ASHA worker is Muniratnamma.
As per sources, Muniratnamma had visited the village to collect information about the people who recently came back to their village. After collecting the information she was telling the villagers how to maintain social distancing and its importance.
Gangadhar who was in an inebriated condition attacked Manirantha, however, the localities soon stop the accused and rushed the ASHA worker to the hospital.
A case with this regard has been registered with the Mulabagilu rural police.
