Three positive cases were reported in the district on Wednesday and an emergency meeting in this regard was called and health officers were ordered to trace the sources of Covid-19 spread at First Neuro hospital.
In the meeting, Kota said, “Due to an increase in Covid-19 positive cases in the district, people are suspicious about the spread of the virus. Health experts must investigate the origin of the Covid-19 infection in the First Neuro hospital and submit a report to the government.”
District Health Officer, Ramachandra Bayari said that all the information regarding patients admitted at the First Neuro hospital has been collected and the investigation is in progress.
He also said that there is a delay in getting the reports due to a high number of samples coming to the lab for testing. Also, the examination of throat swab samples in the lab is done throughout the day at Covid hospital.
