Drunk man who killed snake in Kolar arrested

Kolar: The Mulbagal range forest officials arrested a 38-year-old drunk man on Wednesday, May 6 for biting a snake to death at Mastur village in Kolar district on Tuesday.
As per sources, the officials had nabbed the accused, Kumar at Master and he was still under the influence of the alcohol.
Forest officials said that the offense of Kumar is non-bailable and a jail term up to 3 years could be charged against him.
The species of the snake is declared as rat snake based on a lab test of its remains.
On Tuesday, Kumar had killed a snake that came near his bike by biting under the influence of liquor.
