Bajpe: Woman dies after tipper collides with bike

Mangaluru: A woman was killed in a road accident after a bike collided with a tipper in Bajpe on Thursday, May 7.

The deceased was identified as Joshi Sasikala (46), wife of Manjunath Acharya, an employee of a private company.

The incident took place when Manjunatha Acharya and Shashikala were going to her brother’s house for some work. A tipper had collided with the bike.

Due to the impact, both fell on the road, and Shashikala succumbed to severe injuries, while her husband sustained injuries but out of danger.

A case has been registered at Bajpe Police Station in this regard.
