Mangaluru: Special flights from Dubai on May 12

Mangaluru: Union minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda speaking to Udayawani stated that a special flight has been arranged to bring residents of coastal Karnataka back home from Dubai.

He further stated that the flight will be bringing in a total of 177 people, which include senior citizens, people with health issues and pregnant women.

A second flight from Dubai is likely to arrive in Bangalore on May 15.

A train from Delhi to Bengaluru has also been arranged on May 9 to bring Kannadigas residing in Delhi, Haryana and Punjab. A total of 920 people will be travelling in it, including 620 persons from Delhi.

Additionally, another special flight has also been arranged from London to Bengaluru on May 11 carrying 250 Kannadigas. About 6500 foreign resident Kannadigas have registered to return home, informed the minister.
