Bengaluru cop sings National Anthem to pacify angry crowd

Bengaluru: In a unique way to pacify the angry workers the Madanayakanahalli police inspector KP Sathyanarayan sang the National Anthem to calm them down and this act of the police officer won many hearts.
Few migrant workers from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh landed outside the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) on Tumakuru Road two days ago, demanding they be sent home.
Soon, there was a buzz that the government was not arranging for trains even though many had registered on the Seva Sindhu portal, irked by this the migrants started assaulting the police. In order to soothe them, KP Sathyanarayan sang the National Anthem.
Speaking with this regard KP Sathyanarayan sang the National Anthem said, “When I started singing the National Anthem the crowd too started singing. After a few minutes, there was peace. When people were no longer agitated, I explained the features of Seva Sindhu to them and they listened.”
