Google has added a new feature to Google Lens, its multipurpose object recognition tool. Now, users can copy and paste handwritten notes from their phone to computer with Lens.

Till now, users could use Lens to copy and paste text from their paper notes and documents to their smartphones. Now, the company is bringing the same feature to the laptops and personal computers.

To use the feature, one should update the Google Lens app or the Google App on iOS, where the Google Lens is available on the search bar.

Android users can also use Google Chrome to access Lens. Users should be logged to their Google accounts on all the devices.

After this, you just need to point your camera at the written text, highlight it on your device’s screen, and select copy. Then on your Chrome browser, go to Google Docs, press ‘edit’ and lastly ‘paste’ to paste the text.

Google Lens is also offering a new pronunciation tool, which lets users highlight a word with the feature and then tap “listen” to hear how the word is pronounced. This functionality is only available on Android.
