Hassan: 4 new COVID-19 cases in district; total rises to 9

Hassan: The district which was a Green Zone without a single COVID-19 positive case shattered its status on Tuesday, May 12 with 5 cases and the next day on May 13 with 4 new cases bringing the total number of positive patients in the district to 9.

The district’s Deputy Commissioner has confirmed that all four are a family who came to Hassan from Mumbai. They have been described as a 42-year-old male, a 38-year-old woman and 14 and 17-year-old boy and girl respectively.

All the 9 patients are being treated at the COVID-19 designated hospital in Hassan.
