Veteran Kannada actor Michael Madhu passes away at 50

Bengaluru: Veteran Kannada comedy actor Michael Madhu passed away on Wednesday, May 13.

As per sources, Madhu had returned to Bangalore from Mandya just three days ago and was suffering from a leg injury. He was admitted to a private hospital in the city after suddenly collapsing on Wednesday, however, he died during the treatment.

He made his debut with the movie “Om,” and acted over 300 movies including many super hit movies like, ‘A’, ‘Surya Vamsha’, ‘Shh!’, and many others. Madhu was well known in Sandalwood for his different hairstyles and mannerism.

He had come to the film industry with the dream of becoming a choreographer and added Michael to his name as he was a great fan of Michael Jackson. However, his filmy journey led him to become a comedy actor
