Shri Chitrapura Mutt donates Rs 2 lakh to RSS appreciating their selfless service during COVID-19

Mangaluru: Shri Chitrapura Mutt, Shirali pontiff Shrimath Sadojyat Shankarashram donated Rs 2 lakh to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh volunteers as a token of appreciation for their selfless service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The cheque of Rs 2 lakh was handed over to RSS leaders Dr Vaman Shenoy, Harikrishna and CP Kamath by the Mutt coordinators Madan Bondala, Ramkishore Ellore, Ganesh Dumble, Sri Bharat, Nagaramath, Prathiba Padubidri and Mutt priest Guruprasad Bhat.
Shri Chitrapur Math is the central Mutt (community temple) for the Chitrapur Saraswat Brahmin sect. This Mutt is located at Shirali.
