2 from DK, 1 from Udupi test +ve for COVID-19; State tally rises to 1246

Mangaluru/Udupi: Two new COVID-19 cases were reported from Dakshina Kannada district and one from Udupi district on Monday, May 18.

The two positive cases in Mangaluru are a 30-year-old Mumbai returnee hailing from Bantwal and a 55-year-old woman with SARI.

In Udupi, a 28-year-old Mumbai returnee is the positive patient.

Till May 18, Dakshina Kannada district has reported 54 positive cases, of whom 44 patients are from Dakshina Kannada, one each from Bhatkal and Udupi, and four from Kerala.

13 cases from other districts were reported taking the State’s total to 1,246.
