Mangaluru: Amidst COVID-19 crisis attempt to transfer DC Rupesh

Mangaluru: According to sources, an attempt was made to transfer the present Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district Sindhu B Rupesh allegedly for her failure to control the spread of COVID-19 in the district.
A high official in the district administration too has confirmed that the attempt for DC transfer was real.
Since a few days, many social media posts were alleging that such an attempt is underway. The administration has been criticised on the issue that till date the administration has not been able to trace the source of some of the COVID-19 positive cases.
