Covid 19: Two members of a family, minor from Bantwal discharged after recovery in DK

Mangaluru: Two members of a family, hailing from Boloor and a 16-year-old girl from Bantwal who were undergoing treatment at the designated Covid 19 hospital in the district were discharged post recovery on Wednesday May 20.
Boloor residents welcomed the 62-year-old man and his 11-year-old granddaughter upon their return here after recovery. Two others of the same family had succumbed to the infection.
Earlier in the day a 40-year-old woman who had arrived from Bengaluru to Mangaluru had tested positive for COVID-19.
As on date, the district has 55 confirmed cases of coronavirus of which five have died. With today’s discharge, the number of those discharged is 20.
