Hundreds of people protest outside Kalghatgi MLA’s residence demanding food kit

Hubli: Hundreds of people gathered outside Kalghatgi constituency MLA C M Nimbannavar’s residence demanding food kits in Dharwad district on Thursday, May 22.

People gathered outside his residence demanding food kits without maintaining social distancing.

As per sources, there were rumors that the food kits given by the Labor Department have been distributed among the BJP workers by the MLAs.

“Food kits are distributed to the poor in various parts of the state. Give us food kits,” the protesters said.

However, the personnel of MLA has blocked the protesters and sent them back. The angry people went back to their houses hoping for foot kits from the government.
