Belagavi: A newlywed couple sought blessings of the entire village in an old customary style by riding on a bullock cart.
The wedding ceremony was held at Mandoli village, approximately 10 kilometres from the city here. As per government guidelines, the wedding was held with minimum guests.
Mangesh Dalvi of Mandoli village and Vidya Patil of Vaghavode village performed the nuptial rituals wearing a mask.
As the wedding day was on Sunday, many guests could not come to the venue due to the lockdown. Hence, it was decided to seek their blessings through the age-old custom of the newlyweds visiting the villagers on a bullock cart.
