Cop tests Covid +ve; Vittal police station sanitised, sealed down for 48 hours

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada SP Lakshmi Prasad issued orders to seal down Vittal police station after a police personnel tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday.
As per the order, the police station will remain sealed for 48 hours.
The infected policeman, who has been admitted to Wenlock Hospital is suspected to have contracted the infection from a Mumbai returnee who had visited the police station before being placed in quarantine.
In the backdrop of him testing positive, panchayat officials undertook sanitisation of the police station premises.
