Udupi: Superintendent of Police Vishnuvardhan has clarified on May 25 that his office will not be sealed.
A district armed reserve personnel who had worked in the SP’s office was found to be COVID-19 positive. There were reports that probably due to this the office could be sealed.
He stated that the office was sanitized two days as many people visit to obtain transit passes. Now, as a staff has been reported COVID-19 positive, the office will be sanitized again.
He added that as the armed reserve personnel was working outside the office there is no need to worry too much.
