Udupi: Three-month-old video goes viral; DC clarifies

Udupi: After a video of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Jagadeesha on Monday, saying that a strict lockdown will be imposed in the district from midnight went viral the latter clarified that it was a three-month-old video.

The video was recorded three months ago when the complete lockdown was imposed in the district on March 22, clarified DC.

“Till May 31 lockdown will be continued as per lockdown 4 guidelines'” said Jagadeesha.

The video had gone viral after the total number of infected persons in the district crossed 100- mark.
