Bengaluru: Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah on Wednesday, May 27 said that Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has betrayed people by not fulfilling his Rs 1,610 Cr package promise.

Taking to Twitter Siddaramaiah wrote, “How can we expect washermen and other unorganized sector workers to have a licence for their work? state govt is asking the license to release funds for unorganized sector workers as per media reports. Looks like CM BS Yediyurappa is very far from reality.”

He further added, “Yediyurappa has betrayed people by not fulfilling his Rs 1,610 Cr package promise. He seems to be following his Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

“Crisis and vulnerability should not be misused for political gains and BJP are insensitive towards the same” said Siddaramaiah.
