Bengaluru: A complaint has been filed against BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel by the state Congress for issuing nonsensical statements and providing false information on coronavirus.
The complaint was filed by MLCs Ivan D’Souza and Prakash Rathod at Vidhana Soudha police station.
The complaint filed by them stated, “Nalin has been spreading false information that the position of World Health Organization’s chairman was given to India in appreciation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s achievement in coronavirus management. In reality, the position was given to India on the basis of rotation. India’s stature gets affected because of such childish statements at the international level.”
They further alleged. “Nalin has also claimed that people survived coronavirus because of Modi. He has been spreading false information by twisting the facts in violation of the National Disaster Management Act.”
