Mangaluru: Prohibition on fishing from May 31 to June 4

Mangaluru/Udupi: The Department of Fisheries has issued a warning to fishermen not to venture into the seas till June 4.
The department also instructed that all fishing boats should be brought to shore as soon as possible.
The department has also stated that the fishing ban has been revised. Now the ban is extended from June 15 to July 31 and includes all boats using any nets/equipment and mechanised boats and conventional boats equipped with inboard or outboard machines exceeding 10 horsepower.
