Mangaluru: 2 trains to run from June 1

Mangaluru: Two trains will be running through the city after the Union Railway Ministry allowed inter-State rail traffic.
Mumbai-Thiruvananthapuram Netravati Express (06345/06346) and Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangala Lakshadweep Daily Express (02618/02617) will run through Mangaluru Junction.
Netravati Express will leave Thiruvananthapuram in the morning and will reach Mangaluru Junction at night. Mangala Daily will reach Mangaluru Junction at night.
Presently, Rajdhani Express train too is running through Mangaluru three times a week.
In the Railwys Ministry’s list of trains to be allowed from June 1, nine trains have been allowed in Karnataka: Mumbai CST – Gadag Daily Express (01139/40), Mumbai CST – Bengaluru Udyan Daily Express (01301/02), Danpur – Bengaluru Sangamitra Daily Express (002296/95), New Delhi – Yeshwantpur Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express (Biweekly 02629/02630), Howrah – Yeshwantpur Express (Biweekly 02245/46), Bengaluru-Hubli Jan Shatabdi Daily Express (02079/02080) and Yeshwantpur-Shimoga Jan Shatabdi Daily Express (02089/020900).
Only ticketed passengers will be allowed to enter the railway station. All passengers must reach the station 90 minutes before the departure of the train and must be carrying their Aadhaar cards. Passengers must register their travel details at the station.
