ASI attached to Kota police station suffers brain hemorrhage on retirement day, condition critical

Kundapur: A assistant sub-inspector attached to Kota police station suffered a brain hemorrhage while he was having farewell lunch on his retirement day.

The ASI who suffered brain hemorrhage is Anand Venkat Devadiga (60), he has been admitted to the hospital and is said to be in critical condition.

Anand retired on May 31 and to give a memorable farewell the staff and personnel of Kota police station had arranged lunch for him. Unfortunately, Anand Venkat collapsed at the police station when he was having his farewell lunch.

His colleagues immediately took him to the primary health centre that was nearby and then from there he was shifted to Manipal hospital.

The doctors at Manipal have confirmed that there is a blood clot in his brain and his condition is said to be critical.
