New Delhi: The BJP government on Tuesday appointed Adesh Kumar Gupta as chief of its Delhi unit with immediate effect.
The former North Delhi Municipal Corporation mayor will be replacing actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, stated BJP party president JP Nadda.
Following the party’s dismal performance in the Delhi assembly election in February, Tiwari had offered to step down but was asked to continue until an alternative was found.
