Mangaluru: Maha returnees sent to home quarantine by police

Mangaluru: The police informed thirty people who arrived in the city from Maharashtra to undergo home quarantine on Thursday, June 4.
As per sources, the returnees had arrived in the city by a Delhi-Mumbai-Kerala connecting train and reached Central railway station here at 3.30 am on Thursday.
The returnees checked with the police, and as per the instructions of the police, they went to their respective homes via auto and buses.
It is learned that 15 members out of 30 were from Mumbai and the returnees were inclined to go under home quarantine.
Since there were no officials at the early hours, three returnees went to Nada Kacheri in Surathkal and informed about their arrival.
