Howrah: Scouts donate free masks to SSLC students

Howrah: Scouts troop of Howrah Taluk in Yanagunda are donating free masks to SSLC students.

SSLC examination will begin from June 25 and all the students are advised to compulsorily wear masks and there are many who cannot afford a mask. Now, the troop is helping them by distributing free masks.

The students have made around 1500 masks till now. With the help of a few teachers they bought about 60 meters of cloth, elastic and thread

There are 13 centers set up for SSLC exams in Howrah Taluk and about 3500 students will take the exam. The masks prepared by the students are scheduled to be distributed to the students of the five centers.
