BJP activist Karunakar Kotian issues clarification regarding a viral video about a BJP Yuva Morcha activist’s birthday being celebrated inside the quarantine centre at Murathangadi.
Karunakar Kotian said that the issue was glorified by Congress to tarnish the image of BJP Yuva Morcha and that the birthday wasn’t being celebrated with those quarantined here.
Sources claim, Around 124 people from Mumbai along with family members were quarantined at this centre and 14 people connected with the Bharatiya Janatha party were serving those quarantined and were living separately.
Karunakar Kotian agreed that the celebration of Prashanth’s birthday was held at the centre on May 21 night and no social distancing was followed. He argued that they have been serving families for past 14 days and what is wrong if there was a small birthday celebration of one of the volunteers.
Kotian said that youth Congress president Vishwas Amin has wrongly termed him as the taluk Yuva Morcha president as his term has been expired four months back. Also, Congress leaders who have not served anyone, are trying to spread false propaganda.
Bharat Jain, Naveen, Rakesh Amin, Rajesh Kotian and others were also present.
