Udupi: A solar eclipse will occur on June 21 between 10:04 am and 1:22 pm.
The eclipse will be visible in southern India including coastal Karnataka.
An eclipse had occurred on December 26, 2019, but was visible mostly in northern India and Pakistan.
Additionally, a lunar eclipse will be occurring on June 5. However, scientist Dr A P Bhat explains that this will not be called an eclipse as per the scientific definition of a lunar eclipse and will not be visible in most part of the world.
