Kota: In wake of the lockdown, Bilwadi gram panchayat under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act employed village residents to repair 8 ancient ponds, 2 agricultural ditches and dig 12 new wells.
The now-repaired ponds are the oldest in the area, contributing to aquaculture and groundwater development. But for ten years they were in a state of disrepair.
The villagers are benefiting from the project. PDO Prashant and Secretary Sitaram Acharya have assisted in the implementation of the project.
