Mangaluru: DC Sindhu reviews quarantine facilities

Bantwal: Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh on June 6 visited many quarantine centres in the taluk here and also held a meeting with workers enforcing the guidelines.
She stated that the ‘Quarantine Watch’ app is being implemented for the effective monitoring of quarantined people.
She further explained that the duties for the effective management of home quarantine, duties have been delegated to the gram panchayat officials and ASHA workers who will be visiting those in home quarantine every day.
She added that more than 300 students will be arriving from neighbouring Kerala to appear for their examinations in examination centres in the Dakshina Kannada district. Arrangements for their arrival and departure have been made.
