MP: ‘Baba’ claiming to treat people with kisses dies of Covid-19; several devotees infected

Ratlam: A ‘baba’ who claimed to treat people by kissing their hands died of coronavirus on June 4. Several of his devotees have also been diagnosed with the infection.

The baba used to kiss the hands of devotees, and as a result infected many people. Of the 85 people infected with Covid-19 in the district atleast 2 persons were in contact with the baba.

All of them are currently receiving treatment in hospital.

Health officials of Ratlam district are in the process of compiling the list of primary and secondary contacts of the baba.
