COVID-19: Karnataka Bhavan employee tests positive

Bengaluru: A 28-year old employee working in housekeeping section of Karnataka Bhavan tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday.

Following this development, sanitisation of the entire Karnataka Bhavan building has been undertaken.

The employee had last reported for work on June 8. Since he had mild symptoms, the doctors have advised him to take treatment from home.

The officials have begun his contact tracing and his primary contact in Karnataka Bhavan will be tested soon.

Employees who came in contact with the infected youth have been asked to home quarantine , said an official in Karnataka Bhavan.
