MLC polls: Cong, JDS, BJP to finalize candidates today

Bengaluru: All the three major parties- BJP, Congress, JDS, are likely to finalize the list of candidates for the upcoming MLC elections to seven seats.

On Monday, June 15 evening BJP core committee members including Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and state president Nalin Kumar Kateel will meet and finalize candidates for the elections.

Congress leaders too will be finalizing the candidates today. Over 10 Congress leaders are lobbying for the party nomination for the two seats that the Congress can win.

Meanwhile, the JDS party will behold its legislative party meeting on today afternoon and finalize one name for the elections.
