Moodabidri: Ill gaur taken in and treated by Forest Department

Moodabidri: An ill gaur or Indian bison was found near the town limits here by locals at about 9:30 pm on Tuesday, June 17. Forest Department later took the gaur and are treating it.
The gaur was found near Karingeguttu area of Karinje village.
The adolescent gaur was in a dehydrated condition with her tongue out. The Forest Department managed to get hold of the animal and immediately took it for treatment.
The Department informed that after the treatment the guar will be released into the forest.
