Shimoga: 56-year-old woman dies of COVID-19

Shimoga: A 56-year-old woman died of COVID-19 on Wednesday, June 17, becoming the district’s first fatality due to the disease.
The woman, a resident Davanagere district was admitted to McGANN hospital and was undergoing treatment there.
As the woman is from Davanagere district and was initially undergoing treatment in there so the case has been shifted to Davanagere, informed sources.
