Amid COVID-19 Lockdown in the country, the entertainment industry is severely impacted due to shut down of production and halt of the movie released.

As per sources, Mollywood Star Fahad Faasil’s next movie See You Soon is yet to start shooting. The film is directed by Mahesh Narayanan and being produced by Fahadh.

The filmmakers have taken the green signal from the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) to resume work. However, it is learned that the Kerala Film Producers Association (KEPA) is not happy with the move as they had decided to give preference to pending films to resume work and release before permitting any new films.

The News Minute quoted that FEFKA general secretary B Unnikrishnan said that since the movie is experimental, it would be shot on in iPhone. The film is not meant for a theatrical release.

Speaking to Times of India, director Mahesh said, “It’s a small exercise we are doing among friends on iPhone to check if we can come up with a new format. We are shooting in Fahadh’s flat.”

Fahad Faasil said that the film will not affect the other pending for production and release.

There are around 66 movies pending due to COVID-19 lockdown, as per reports.
