Fishing activities at Bunder, Hoige Bazar suspended until further notice

Mangaluru: In the backdrop of five persons related to harbour activities testing positive for coronavirus infection, the department of fisheries has said the fishing activities at the harbour and Hoige Bazar will remain suspended from today (June 23) night onwards until further notice.

The decision which has been taken as a precautionary measure will affect the fish trade.

Fishermen have been informed not to unload or conduct any kind of fishing activity at Bunder and Hoigebazar area.
