Mangaluru: Nature lovers plant tree saplings along road from Nanthoor to Talapady

Mangaluru: The forest department along with the National Highways Authority of India began the work of planting tree saplings between Talapady and Nanthoor.
Nature lover Madhava Ullal, who has been shouldering the responsibility for the success of this scheme, along with some of the volunteers is busy planting Kadamba trees on both sides of the road.
Apart from, forest department NHAI and Madhava Ullal, local organizations and institutions have also been wholeheartedly supported the initiative.
The saplings planted by these volunteers are expected to grow into robust trees within two years, lending elegance and naturally rich look.
