R Ashoka takes charge as COVID-19 in-charge minister after Sudhakar placed under home quarantine

Bengaluru: Revenue minister R Ashoka to be Bengaluru Corona in-charge minister after Medical Education Minister Sudhakar was placed under home quarantine.

Ashoka took charge of the COVID-19 from Thursday, June 25.

Medical Education minister K Sudhakar’s father, his wife, and daughter tested positive on Tuesday, June 23.

Minister Sudhakar took to Twitter and wrote, “Test results of our family members have come. Unfortunately, my wife and daughter have tested positive for COVID-19 and are undergoing treatment.”

“My two sons and I have tested negative. I am grateful to everyone for their best wishes and prayers,” he added.
