Covid-19: DK reports 29 new cases, Udupi 14 as K’taka tally surges to 10,560

Bengaluru: Karnataka reported 442 new cases of coronavirus, with Bengaluru alone accounting for 113 cases on Thursday, June 25, the health department said.
“Till date 10,560 positive cases have been confirmed of which 6,670 have been discharged. Presently 3,716 cases are active and the death toll in the state stands at 170.
In the last 24 hours, 519 persons were discharged, 442 new cases and six fatalities have been reported,” stated the health bulletin.
District-wise Bengaluru reported 113 case; Kalaburagi (35); Ramanagara (33); Dakshina Kannada (29); Ballari & Dharwad 26 cases each; Mysuru (22); Bagalkote & Kidagu (18); Udupi (14); Hassan & Bengaluru Rural 12 cases each; Uttara Kannada (11); Gadag, Haveri, Vijayapura 10 cases each.
Mandya, Bidar and Davangere accounted for nine, eight and seven cases respectively while four cases each was reported from Belagavi, Shivamogga and Koppal.
In Dakshina Kannada, today’s new cases took the tally of infection to 486 in the district. 88 persons were discharged today taking total discharges to 334. Presently 142 cases are actice and 10 deaths have occured in the district.
In Udupi, so far 1116 positive cases have been confirmed and 1011 persons discharged. 103 cases are active and two deaths have been reported in Udupi.
