Karnataka will allow aspiring entrepreneurs in small, medium and major sectors to start operations without waiting to obtain any prior permits from the government.
The cabinet, on Thursday, approved the Karnataka Industries Bill seeking to exempt industries from obtaining permissions from agencies for three years.
It is said that the investors will just need an acknowledgement from Karnataka State high level clearance committee.
Investors will get a leniency period of three years for obtaining all required licences, including building permits, certificates from the pollution control board, and other permits to obtain electricity and water connections
