Mangaluru: Vikas Kumar appointed as new police commissioner; Dr P S Harsha transferred

Mangaluru: Vikash Kumar Vikas has been appointed as a new police commissioner to city.
Police commissioner Dr. P S Harsha who was serving here has been transferred and will be posted as deputy inspector general (DIG) and commissioner, Information and Public Relations, Bengaluru. The transfer was made by the government in a communication dated June 26.
Vikas was earlier serving as deputy inspector general (DIG) and commander, Anti Naxal Force, Karkala.
