Udupi: 18 new COVID-19 cases on June 29

Udupi: 18 new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported from the district in the past 24 hours till 5 pm on June 29.

This has brought the cumulative total number of COVID-19 cases in the district to 1,197. Of these 1,056 have recovered from the disease.

Two people have died due to COVID-19 in the district so far. There are currently 139 active cases being treated in designated COVID-19 hospitals in the district.

So far 14,268 samples have been collected for testing in the district. Of these 12,862 samples have tested negative and 1,197 tested positive for the coronavirus. 209 samples reports are awaited.
