Mangaluru: KSRTC buses to ply as usual

Mangaluru: Though there is a curfew imposed in the State from 8 pm to 5 am due to COVID-19, there is no change in the schedule of long-distance KSRTC buses.
KSRTC officials told Udayavani that the Mangaluru KSRTC bus stand will be operating till 9.30 pm. Local buses will ply till 6.30 pm.
Long-distance private buses too are plying as usual.
Private bus owners have requested to the Transport Minister to issue a notification for road tax exemption and ticket price hike for private buses plying in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
