Covid 19 tally in DK nears 1000 mark with 90 new cases

Mangaluru: Coronavirus cases continue to surge in Dakshina Kannada with further 90 cases detected on Thursday, July 2. The tally of those infected in the district has now risen to 913.

Presently the district has 428 active cases while the death toll in the district stands at 18.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 14,430 samples have been sent for tests till date, out of which 13,080 have turned out negative, and 923 positive, including 10 persons from other districts.

Till date 477 persons have recovered.
