The minister called Gauri, an SSLC student from Chamarajanagar.

Gauri’s parents had commented on the minister Facebook page that the SSLC examinations should not be conducted and must be postponed. Observing this, the minister called and reassured the student and her parents now.

The minister called the student on Friday night and asked for her opinion on the examinations.

Is your mind relaxed now? Was payasam made in your house for dinner after the examinations? We made payasam at my home but can’t send it to you through the phone, the minister had joked in the call.

how was the science and maths examinations? How were the arrangements in the examination centres? The results will come in the first week of August. Then you should call and tell me about your results. Don’t have any worries now, sleep peacefully, he had said to her.

The social distancing and mask-wearing done during the examinations should be continued to be practised, he advised her.

Then speaking to her parents, he said that we are now the model for successfully conducting SSLC examinations. We have shown that to other States who will follow us. We took care of your daughter as our own. Raise her and educated her well.
