Bengaluru: According to State government data released on Saturday, July 4, a total of 32 students who had appeared in the recently concluded SSLC examinations had tested positive for COVID-19.
The SSLC examination was conducted in the State between June 25 and July 4 with 7,61,506 students appearing in it.
The data further states that 80 students have already been home quarantined and primary contacts of the 32 students will also be tested and home quarantined if they test positive.
Basking after the successful completion of the SSLC examinations, Primary and Secondary Education Minister, Suresh Kumar, is now surprise calling SSLC students and asking their opinions on the examinations.
