Bengaluru: 50-year-old woman dies after 12 hospitals deny admission

Bengaluru: In yet another case of death due to a shortage of beds in hospitals in the city, a 50-year-old woman died of breathing problems after 12 hospitals denied admission.
As per sources, the woman’s husband had approached around 12 hospitals in a span of 3 days and as many as 12 the hospitals denied admission to the patient citing a shortage of beds.
However, the woman was admitted to KC General hospital on Saturday, July 4 where she passed away after a few minutes of her admission.
Meanwhile, a 35-year old man also died on Saturday due to fever for three days. It is learned that he was also denied admission in several hospitals due to a shortage of beds.
His wife managed to admit him to a hospital, however, he passed away 15 minutes after being hospitalized.
