Mangaluru: Reshmi Bhat and Megha Shenoy selected for service in armed forces

Mangaluru: Reshmi Gopinath Bhat from Kochi and Megha N Shenoy from Bengaluru has been selected to serve as officers in the Indian armed forces.

Reshmi Bhatt, daughter of Gopinath Bhat and Shobha, graduated in Electronics and Communication. She is currently serving as an officer in the technical branch of the Indian Air Force.

Megha N. Shenoy, daughter of E D Narasimha Shenoy and Gomati Shenoy, is an MBBS graduate. She has been selected as an Assistant Commanding Medical Officer in the Border Security Force and has been assigned to serve at COVID-19 nursing centres.

Basti Vaman Shenoy, President of the World Konkani Centre, commended the two, who were active in the Centre’s Alumni Association and stated that their progress is an inspiration. T.V. Mohandas Pai, Ramadas Kamat U, Pradeep G Pai, Principal Director of the Kshamata Academy, Ullas Kamath, Convenor Giridhar Kamath, World Konkani Centre treasurer B R Bhat and others congratulated both of them.
