Veteran Kannada actor Jayanthi admitted to hospital

Bengaluru: Veteran Kannada actor Jayanthi admitted to Vikram hospital in Bengaluru due to asthma on Tuesday, July 7.

As per sources, Jayanthi was suffering from breathing-related ailments and her son Krishna Kumar admitted her to the hospital.

The throat swap was taken for the COVID-19 test and the report came negative.

Jayanthi is on a ventilator, active and recovering, informed sources.
